Why rank by power-to-weight?
Power alone flatters heavy cars. Dividing by weight shows how hard each kilogram is pushed, which is what you feel when you accelerate: a light car with modest power can sit above a heavy one with much more. The ratio here uses crank power and kerb weight as the makers quote them.
The ranking updates itself whenever a spec sheet is checked; cars without a verified power and weight figure are not listed.
